Team Vitality India Expands Into Free Fire and BGMI
Team Vitality has announced the expansion of its mobile esports division in India by entering Free Fire and Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). Vitality’s Free Fire roster will be coached and led in-game by Indranil “FABINDRO” Saha, while the coaching duties of the BGMI lineup will fall to Pratik “Aurum” Mehra. The other members of the two lineups are yet to be announced. This expansion from Vitality comes after its Call of Duty (COD) Mobile roster in India, signed in March 2021, firmly established itself as one of the best teams in the region.

Team Vitality enters Free Fire and BGMI in India
Vitality is expanding into Free Fire and BGMI in India, step-by-step. Currently, it has only selected FABINDRO for Free Fire, and Aurum for BGMI. The two will be building the teams in their vision.
FABINDRO to lead Vitality’s Free Fire lineup
FABINDRO is one of the most popular Free Fire players in the country, having previously served as the In-Game Leader of Sixth Sense and other teams such as TSM and XTZ Esports. He mentioned that joining Vitality is a dream come true for him since he has wanted to be a part of the organization since it first expanded into India.
“I do have a couple of talented players in mind that will make a winning team. We will be making a mark very soon in Free Fire tournaments, both domestic and international,” FABINDRO said upon being announced as the first member of the Free Fire lineup.
Aurum to coach Vitality’s BGMI roster
Aurum, who is a former PUBG PC player and transitioned to coaching in 2019, will provide his guidance to Vitality’s BGMI squad. He last coached Galaxy Racer but parted ways in October 2021 amid issues within the team.
“In order to excel as one team, the org, Coach, and every esports athlete, needs to believe in the same ideals and values. I’m completely aligned with Team Vitality’s vision for India and am proud that they are placing their trust in me,” Aurum stated according to the release.
Nicolas Maurer, CEO of Team Vitality, expressed his organization’s excitement about expanding into Free Fire and BGMI and hopes that the two rosters will become a dominant force within the country and abroad. “The new teams will be operating out of the state-of-the-art Team Vitality India Training Facility located in Mumbai, India,” the organization mentioned.
In the coming two days, Randall Fernandez, Managing Director, Team Vitality India, indicated that the company will work closely with Fabindro and AURUM to finalize the rosters for the two lineups.
Since Vitality already has a roster in place for CODM, its expansion into Free Fire and BGMI will give it a presence in three of India’s top mobile esports titles. Currently, the organization also has a team of content creators, including YouTubers Nishchay “Live Insaan” Malhan and Rachit “Rachitroo” Yadav.
