SNK has confirmed that The King of Fighters XV will receive 12 characters post-launch, which will arrive throughout 2022. Those of you looking to splash out on the game in the US can purchase the Omega Edition of the game, which comes with a host of extra goodies.

The King of Fighters is one of the longest-running franchises of its kind, having originally debuted back in 1994 for the Neo Geo arcade system and Neo Geo home console.
