Twitter Is Down Tonight

While gamers already know about what’s scheduled to launch later this month, new reports out today suggest that Call of Duty Warzone 2 is in development and reportedly landing this year.

There are even rumours that the game could be announced today, although that reveal could be made harder if Twitter isn’t working. A message from known leaker and game insider Tom Henderson has provided the latest on the situation.

This included claims that Warzone 2 could be announced shortly, although the way in which this will be handled is not certain. The full message from Henderson’s account on Twitter reads: “Unfortunately, I don’t know *exactly* what we’re getting today in regards to Warzone II.

“I expect it could just be a blog post announcing Warzone 2 is a thing with some details. There was no trailer or anything shown to the creators, so I’m not really expecting that.”

More on today’s Twitter outage is expected to be shared if it continues throughout the evening. Twitter is usually one of the more stable social media platforms, and large outages are much rarer than on Facebook and Instagram.

With this in mind, there is a good chance that the current outage will end before any potential news regarding Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is shared by Activision. And as noted by Henderson, the COD team could always choose to post no the Call of Duty Blog, avoiding any problems with Twitter.
