Warzone Season 2 Roadmap omits surprise PlayStation Plus bonus
Call of Duty Warzone Season 2 starts next week, with Sony and Activision confirming a fresh PS4 and PS5 bonus for those with an active PlayStation Plus subscription.
Even though Microsoft will soon own Activision, that doesn’t mean the most recent deals with Sony have become void.
Warzone Season 2 begins next week, and as part of the free update, gamers who own a PlayStation Plus subscription will be able to unlock a little bonus on February 23.
According to a new post shared by PlayStation, but not part of the official Warzone Roadmap shared by Activision, gamers on Sony consoles will also get access to an exclusive cosmetic bundle.
The new Beach Bum Combat Pack will add a Legendary Operator Skin for Wade Jackson and a Legendary Overlord and Neptune Weapon Blueprints featuring ten attachments each.

It also includes a Legendary Emblem, a Legendary Calling Card, an Epic Watch, an Epic Charm and a 60-minute Double XP Token. All of this will be available to those players who have a PlayStation console and subscribe to PlayStation Plus.
For those who plan on playing Warzone Season 2 without a subscription, the Beach Bum pack will remain locked. All other content appears to be arriving on all platforms simultaneously, with no mention of exclusive deals in the official Roadmap.
And the Roadmap itself contains a lot of news for both Vanguard and Warzone fans currently planning on playing through February. New multiplayer maps, Warzone modes and Zombie experiences are launching later this month, with the Undead taking a starring role.
More Vanguard Zombies
A new zombies map will be launching as part of the latest update, which will transport fans to the deserts of Egypt. As revealed in the Warzone and Vanguard Roadmap, Krafft and company take the fight to Von List in “Terra Maledicta,” a new Zombies experience set in Egypt’s Eastern Desert and abroad.
The complete map description adds: “Gateways to new arenas will open, including the Dark Aether itself in an entirely new location for Vanguard Zombies. Professor Krafft and his Special Forces fighters have established a “beachhead” within the Dark Aether in the fight against Von List, where they’ll risk everything to obtain a lost page from the Tome of Rituals.”
The new Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone Season 2 updates will be going live starting February 14, across PlayStation, Xbox and PC platforms.
