There have been plenty of games in the last few years that have seemingly come out of nowhere and become a major success and Lost Ark is yet another, with those looking to play with multiple accounts needing to know what Knowledge Transfer is and just how to do it.

Lost Ark is a free-to-play MMO that has blown up over the last week after releasing worldwide by Amazon Game Studios, with it moving near the top of the Steam charts almost immediately.

As people that play MMOs pretty often will know, having multiple characters or accounts is a very popular option. However, grinding up those secondary characters can be a major problem and that is where Knowledge Transfer really comes in handy in Lost Ark.

What is Knowledge Transfer in Lost Ark?

Knowledge Transfer is a very useful tool that allows you to very quickly level up alternate accounts from your main one. Getting your main account up to the max level is one thing, but having to do it again and again on alternate accounts can feel very grindy.

By purchasing a Knowledge Transfer within Lost Ark using in-game currency, you are able to select one of your additional accounts and essentially set an eight-hour timer of real-world time.

Once eight hours have passed, your alternate account will be leveled up to 50 as well, which would have taken a good bit longer if you weren’t using this option.

How To Do It

Now you know just what Knowledge Transfer is in Lost Ark and just how useful it can be, but now you need to know just how to do it.

To start, you will have to play through the full campaign of Lost Ark and reach level 50. This is going to take you a little while, but it’s the first step necessary to get a Knowledge Transfer.

After doing this, you will be able to visit your Island Stronghold and thus the Stronghold quests, specifically to unlock the training area for you.

At this point, you can purchase a Knowledge Transfer for 600 in-game Gold, which really should not be all that hard to have come by at this point in the game.

From there, select the alternative account that you want to level up to the max as well and wait eight hours for it to be completed. After that point, you can use the alternative character for more post-game content beyond the campaign to mess around with different character types at will.
