Apex Legends Season 11 is coming to a close and Respawn has already started teasing the next season. Season 11: Escape saw Ash and the Storm Point map being added to the game. And Season 12 will continue to build on the lore and some rumors suggest that Mag Maggie might be the next legend to be added to the game. With just two weeks left until Season 11 comes to a close, fans are excited to see what’s in store for the next season.

When is Apex Legends Season 11 ending?

Apex Legends Season 11 is ending on 8th February 2022, and the next season should start on the same day. Players should complete their battle pass Challenges as soon as possible as there will be a full ranked reset and Season 11’s weekly challenges will no longer be available once the season comes to a close.

What’s coming in Apex Legends Season 12?

If you have been playing Apex Legends on Storm Point, you must have noticed an in-game teaser where Mag Maggie gets into an aerial dogfight. She loses the fight and we see her plane crash, but it is unknown if she makes it out alive.

Many have speculated that Mad Maggie is the game’s next legend. She is one of Fuse’s old friends who has been trying to take down the Syndicate for years. Respawn is yet to officially disclose any of the next legend’s abilities but we can expect an announcement ahead of Season 12’s launch.

Respawn released a number of audio clips over the past few days and players have been piecing together the hints hidden within the audio files to find out more about the next legend. All signs point to Mad Maggie becoming a playable legend as she has been showcased in lore cinematics and trailers for months but it is not set in stone yet.

In addition to a new legend, we can also expect updates to Arenas, a brand-new battle pass, cosmetics and limited-time modes to make it into the game. We are also getting close to game’s anniversary and we might have a special Collections event like last year, allowing players to get their favorite heirlooms at steep discounts.

We recommend saving your crafting materials as the cost of event skins will be cut in half temporarily if Respawn follows the same event model as last year. Season 11’s ranked mode is also coming to a close and you have two weeks left to reach your desired ranks before everyone’s Ranked Points (RP) are reset.
