Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel February 7 Update Details

Konami haven’t released any patch notes for today’s Master Duel update, but we do know some details surrounding the maintenance and update.

The game’s servers briefly went down at 11PM ET / 4AM GMT for around 3 hours before a new update was deployed for players to download on all supported platforms. The patch is only a few MB in size but may vary depending on your platform.

According to the Master Duel announcement page, kindly published by game8, the February 7 update is merely for a few bug fixes. Exactly what bugs were fixed remains unknown.

Players can also get their hands on 1,000 Gems to celebrate the game reaching 10 million downloads. According to the in-game message “limited-time login missions that give you a total of 1,000 gems are now underway”. More details can be found in-game by heading to the “Limited-Time Missions” tab under “Missions”, this is also where rewards can be claimed.

Alongside receiving 1,000 gems, players will also find new rewards after a previous issue was causing players to not receive their rank up rewards. The in-game message states:

“As an apology, we have sent items to players affected by this issue. Please claim them from your Gift Box”.

That’s all that’s currently known about today’s update, should any further details be released, we will update this article.
