Martha Is Dead publisher Wired Productions has revealed that the PS4 & PS5 versions of the game are to be censored, while the PC and Xbox editions will remain unchanged.

Furthermore, the publisher confirmed on Twitter that the physical version of Martha Is Dead will be postponed to an as-yet unannounced date.

It is with regret that we have had to modify the experience on the PS5 and PS4 versions, with some elements no longer playable. After over four years of passion and hard work, Developer LKA now requires extra time to make these unplanned changes.

Martha Is Dead, as a result, will still launch digitally on both PS5 and PS4 on Thursday, February 24, 2022, but the physical retail release will be delayed to a yet to be disclosed date; although we anticipate this to be a small number of weeks.

The studio didn’t go into any details as to what the cut content consists of, but evidently Sony wasn’t happy with whatever was included as the PC and Xbox versions are unaffected.
